BGCweb 2012 over the past 12 months has recognized the ever growing increase in smart phone use. With a steady shift toward using your mobile phone to browse the web, send email and conduct ecommerce (think Donations) it was a no-brainer for us to include this technology within BGCweb 2012.
Non Profit organizations have some special challenges these days. The need for funds is increasing and costs are rising, while in many cases memberships are under pressure and fundraising is declining or becoming more expensive.

Here's the way the mobile component works...You pick an App template to start with, we initiate the set-up process which among other things include adding your club specific logo, creating your BGCapp management portal, linking your update able content areas(Events, Video's and Donate areas) and finally submission to Apple's App Store & Google's Market place. The review by apple can take several days to several weeks whereas Google can take as little as little as several minutes. Upon approval we notify you and you may then search for your app and download and install on your iPhone or iPad or Droid device. Here's where the management of mobile content becomes seamless. Let's say you add an event to your "Calendar" on your BGCweb 2012 web template, that event automatically gets updated on a users phone the next time they open the app. Same goes for a "News item"...add it on your web site and it ports right over to your mobile app for everyone to see. Integrate Twitter and Facebook easily. Use Google Maps to display your clubs location and offer one-tap call or email right from the phone. It's that simple and all included in your subscription to BGCweb 2012.
NOTE: Apple is increasingly tightening it's acceptance guidelines for submitted apps in the Apple App Store, as a result BGC apps have been rejected because of insufficient content and functionality, this is something we cannot control. It is important to realize that every BGCweb 2012 customer also receives a Droid App(much less restrictions on mobile app submission) and a HTML 5 web app. So either way there will be a mobile app available for any smart phone that accesses your WWW address.
